In addition to its evocative exhibition halls, the museum houses a modern Multimedia Center, a multi-purpose space dedicated to temporary exhibitions, conferences, meetings, and presentations that enrich the cultural offerings.  Events focus on promoting the local area and its history.

The heritage of the Santi Furnari Museum Consists of a carefully selected array of grave goods from the Necropolis of Contrada Cardusa, an archaeological site of extraordinary importance. The more than 154 tombs unearthed have yielded a treasure trove of artifacts displayed on two floors of the museum, showcased in display cases that highlight exquisitely crafted ceramics and refined goldsmith’s work

Among the most remarkable artifacts are jewelry pieces, true masterpieces of ancient craftsmanship. A magnificent myrtle leaf crown and a collection of gold rings testify to the high level of skill and wealth of the society that inhabited the area in antiquity. These precious objects offer a captivating window into the daily life and funerary practices of that time. The ceramics on display also represent notable examples of the artistic production of the period, showcasing refined techniques and decorations.

The museum is equipped with an innovative interactive multimedia system to make the visit even more engaging and informative. This tool guides visitors on a journey of discovery, providing detailed and clear information that facilitates understanding even for those who are not experts in archaeology. Technology makes the museum experience more accessible and engaging.

The importance of the Santi Furnari Museum also lies in its close connection to the ancient history of the area. In the municipality of Tripi are the remains of the ancient city of Abakainon, a settlement whose history is intertwined with that of ancient Sicily. The museum, therefore, does not limit itself to displaying artifacts, but proposes itself as a starting point for a fascinating journey through time, to discover the deep roots of Tripi and its rich historical and cultural heritage. A visit to the museum offers a journey through the different phases of a significant past community, enriching your knowledge of Sicilian history.
